- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 2 envelopes Knox Gelatin
- 1 cup Pinnacle Whipped Vodka
Orange Layer
- 1 cup water
- 1 small box orange Jell-O (about 3 oz)
- 1 Tbsp sweetened condensed milk
- 1 envelope Knox Gelatin
- 1 cup Pinnacle Whipped Vodka
Yellow Layer
- 1 cup water
- 1 small box lemon Jell-O (about 3 oz)
- 1 Tbsp sweetened condensed milk
- 1 envelope Knox Gelatin
- 1 cup Pinnacle Whipped Vodka
Other
- Cooking spray (for greasing pans)
- 2 loaf pans
Instructions
- Make white layer: In a medium saucepan, whisk together 1 cup water and 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Sprinkle 2 envelopes Knox gelatin evenly over the mixture and let it sit for 1 minute to bloom. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin dissolves fully and the mixture is smooth, about 2 minutes. Do not boil. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup Pinnacle Whipped Vodka.
- Set white layer: Lightly grease two loaf pans with cooking spray. Divide the white mixture evenly between the pans, about 1 cup per pan. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes or until the layer is slightly firm but still sticky to touch.
- Make orange layer: In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup water, the orange Jell-O powder, and 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk. Whisk to combine. Sprinkle 1 envelope Knox gelatin over the mixture and let sit 1 minute to activate. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until gelatin dissolves and mixture is smooth, about 2 minutes without boiling. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup Pinnacle Whipped Vodka. Whisk well to prevent separation.
- Set orange layer: Carefully pour 1 cup of the orange mixture on top of the white layer in each loaf pan. Return pans to the refrigerator and chill for about 30 minutes, until the orange layer is slightly firm but still sticky.
- Make yellow layer: In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup water, lemon Jell-O powder, and 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk. Whisk to combine. Sprinkle 1 envelope Knox gelatin over the mixture and let sit 1 minute. Heat over medium heat, stirring until gelatin dissolves and mixture is smooth, about 2 minutes, without boiling. Remove from heat and whisk in 1 cup Pinnacle Whipped Vodka.
- Set yellow layer: Carefully pour 1 cup of the yellow mixture over the orange layer in each loaf pan. Refrigerate until fully set and firm, at least 3 hours.
- Unmold jello shots: To release gelatin from pans, dip the bottoms of the loaf pans in a small puddle of very hot water for about 30 seconds. Run a butter knife gently around the edges to loosen the gelatin. Flip the pan onto your hand or a cutting board to release the jello slabs.
- Slice and serve: Cut the layered gelatin slab into loaf-shaped slices like bread, then cut those slices diagonally to create triangles resembling candy corn pieces. Serve chilled and enjoy responsibly.
Notes
- Ensure gelatin does not boil while dissolving to maintain a smooth texture.
- Allow each layer to set until slightly firm but sticky before adding the next layer to prevent blending.
- Use cooking spray on loaf pans to aid in unmolding the jello shots easily.
- The Pinnacle Whipped Vodka adds both flavor and alcohol content; adjust amount to taste or desired strength.
- Store leftover jello shots covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Cut slices diagonally to best mimic candy corn shapes and enhance festive presentation.
