Description

These Cheddar Bacon Ranch Chicken Wraps combine tender chicken strips, crispy bacon, melted cheddar cheese, and a creamy ranch dressing, all wrapped in warm flour tortillas with fresh lettuce and avocado. Ready in just 20 minutes, they’re perfect for a quick, satisfying meal packed with smoky, savory flavors and delightful textures.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken and Bacon

  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into very thin strips
  • 1/3 cup chopped bacon
  • 1-2 teaspoons seasoning salt or any seasoning blend you like

Cheese and Toppings

  • 1/2 cup crispy fried onions (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (adjust to taste)
  • Butter or iceberg lettuce leaves
  • 8 to 10 8-inch flour tortillas, warmed
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup ranch salad dressing (or more to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon and chicken: In a large non-stick skillet over medium to medium-high heat, cook the sliced chicken with chopped bacon and seasoning salt. Ensure the chicken strips are not crowded in the pan to allow even browning. Cook until the chicken is golden and the juices run clear, about 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add cheesy onions: Reduce the heat to low and sprinkle crispy fried onions and shredded cheddar cheese over the cooked chicken and bacon mixture in the skillet. Continue cooking gently until the cheese melts and the onions are heated through, around 2-3 minutes.
  3. Assemble and serve: Lay several butter or iceberg lettuce leaves on each warmed flour tortilla. Spoon a generous amount of the cheesy chicken and bacon mixture on top. Add sliced avocado and drizzle ranch salad dressing over the filling. Roll up the tortillas tightly and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use thinly sliced chicken breasts for quick, even cooking.
  • Seasoning salt can be substituted with your preferred seasoning blend for different flavor variations.
  • Adjust crispy fried onions and cheddar cheese quantity according to your taste preference.
  • Make sure not to overcrowd the skillet to ensure chicken cooks evenly and gets a nice golden color.
