Description

This Easy One-Pan Dumplings recipe is a delightful fusion dish that combines tender dumplings baked in a flavorful red curry coconut milk sauce. With simple ingredients and minimal prep, this recipe yields a comforting, aromatic, and visually appealing meal perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. Topped with fresh green onions, chili oil crunch, cilantro, and sesame seeds, it offers layers of taste and texture in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale

For The Sauce

  • 1 can (13.5 ounces) coconut milk
  • 2 Tablespoons red curry paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger

For The Dumplings & Garnish

  • 1 bag (16 ounces) refrigerated or frozen dumplings (use your favorite kind)
  • Sliced green onion, for garnish
  • Chili oil crunch, for garnish
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for baking the dish.
  2. Prepare the sauce: In a 9×13-inch baking dish, combine the coconut milk, red curry paste, minced garlic, low-sodium soy sauce, and ground ginger. Whisk these ingredients together until the sauce is smooth and well blended.
  3. Arrange dumplings: Evenly place the refrigerated or frozen dumplings over the sauce in the baking dish. Spoon some of the sauce over the top of the dumplings to ensure they absorb the flavors during baking.
  4. Bake the dumplings: Place the uncovered baking dish in the preheated oven. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the dumplings turn golden and the sauce is bubbling. If using frozen dumplings, extend the baking time by a few minutes to ensure they cook through.
  5. Garnish and serve: Carefully remove the dish from the oven. Sprinkle sliced green onions, chili oil crunch, fresh cilantro, and sesame seeds evenly on top. Serve the dumplings warm and enjoy the rich, spicy flavors.

Notes

  • If using frozen dumplings, add an additional 3-5 minutes to the baking time to ensure they are fully cooked.
  • Red curry paste can vary in heat; adjust the quantity according to your spice preference.
  • To make this recipe vegetarian, ensure your dumplings do not contain meat.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
