For the Sliders:
- 12 Hawaiian rolls (or slider buns)
- 1 pound deli-style roast beef, thinly sliced
- 6 slices Swiss cheese, halved
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
For the Butter Glaze:
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
For the Au Jus Sauce:
- 1 ½ cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat & Prepare the Sliders:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Caramelize the Onions:
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter.
- Add sliced onions and cook until golden and caramelized (about 10 minutes).
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and thyme. Remove from heat.
Assemble the Sliders:
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half, keeping them connected. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
- Layer half of the Swiss cheese, followed by roast beef, caramelized onions, and the remaining Swiss cheese.
- Place the top half of the rolls over the fillings.
Make the Butter Glaze & Bake:
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, parsley, Dijon mustard, and sesame seeds.
- Brush generously over the sliders.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake for 5 more minutes until golden brown.
Prepare the Au Jus Sauce:
- In a small saucepan, heat beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper over medium heat.
- Simmer for 5 minutes, then pour into small serving bowls.
Serve & Enjoy:
- Slice the sliders apart and serve warm with au jus dipping sauce.

- Use provolone or mozzarella instead of Swiss cheese for a different flavor.
