Salad Dressing Ingredients
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (whole milk or low-fat)
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh mint, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1–2 tablespoons water or milk (to thin, if needed)
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, dill, mint, olive oil, lemon juice, vinegar, and garlic until smooth and well blended.
- Season Dressing: Add salt and black pepper, then taste the dressing and adjust the seasoning as needed to suit your preference.
- Adjust Consistency: If the dressing is too thick, gradually whisk in water or milk one tablespoon at a time until you achieve the desired pourable consistency.
- Chill: Refrigerate the dressing for at least 10–15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and develop fully.
- Serve: Use the dressing over green salads, grain bowls, or as a flavorful dip for fresh veggies and pita bread.
Notes
- For extra tang, add a splash more vinegar or a pinch of lemon zest.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- This dressing also works wonderfully as a sauce for grilled chicken or fish.
