Ingredients
Scale
Chicken
- 16 ounces Blackened chicken
Sauce
- 3 tablespoons Butter
- 2 cloves Garlic (finely minced)
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- 5 ounces Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning
Pasta
- 18 ounces Natural Heaven Heart of Palm noodles (drained)
Instructions
- Prepare the Blackened Chicken: Make the blackened chicken according to your preferred method before starting the sauce. You can also prepare it ahead of time and reheat before serving.
- Melt Butter and Sauté Garlic: In a pan over medium-high heat, melt the 3 tablespoons of butter. Add the finely minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant without letting it brown.
- Simmer the Heavy Cream: Pour the heavy cream into the pan and bring it to a gentle simmer over medium-high heat. Stir often to prevent the cream from burning. This should take approximately 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add Parmesan and Creole Seasoning: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Creole seasoning. Continue cooking the sauce for 8 to 10 minutes until it thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.
- Combine Noodles and Warm: Remove the sauce from heat and add the drained Heart of Palm noodles into the sauce. Allow them to cook and warm through for about 5 minutes.
- Serve: Plate the creamy Alfredo noodles and top with thinly sliced blackened chicken. Serve immediately for best flavor.
Notes
- Heart of Palm noodles are a great low-carb alternative to traditional pasta for keto diets.
- You can adjust the Creole seasoning amount to taste for more or less spice.
- If blackened chicken isn’t pre-made, you can quickly season chicken breasts with Creole seasoning and sear in a hot pan until cooked through.
- Stir the sauce frequently to prevent burning and ensure even thickening.
- For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream and Parmesan with keto-friendly dairy-free alternatives.
