This Ninja Foodi whole chicken recipe gives you perfectly juicy, tender meat with a crispy, golden-brown skin—all in one pot! Using the pressure cooker and air fryer functions, this recipe is quick, easy, and absolutely delicious.

- 1 whole chicken (3–4 lbs)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth or water
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and rub it all over with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, mix the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Rub the spice mix all over the chicken, including under the skin.
- Add the chicken broth or water to the Ninja Foodi pot. Place the chicken on the reversible rack, breast side up.
- Close the pressure lid, ensuring the valve is set to “seal.” Pressure cook on high for 25 minutes.
- When cooking is complete, allow a natural release for 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
- Open the lid and carefully flip the chicken over to the breast side down. Switch to the air crisp function at 400°F for 10–15 minutes, or until the skin is golden and crispy.
- Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving. Serve hot.

- For added flavor, stuff the chicken with garlic cloves and lemon wedges.
